It needs a 914 mm opening and it is 234 kg crated, delivered in two pieces. A standard internal door is 820 mm, so we check the route with you on the phone before anything ships.

Coverage, and it is arithmetic rather than opinion. A 30 by 60 cm panel lights about 0.18 m², on one side of you. This lights 1.5 to 1.8 m² at once, above and below. That is roughly ten times the skin in the same 20 minutes, without holding still in front of something or turning over halfway.

If a panel did nothing for you, coverage is the first thing to check before you conclude the modality does not work. You can check it with a tape measure.

No, and the mechanism is different rather than the intensity. A sauna works by raising the air temperature around you. This works by wavelength. It emits at five specific bands and does not heat the room.

They are not substitutes for each other and we would not tell you to replace one with the other. If you already own a sauna, this answers a different question.

Wipe the acrylic after a session. There is no cover to launder and no filter to change. There are no lamps to replace, which is the running cost nobody quotes you on a relamped tanning bed. These are LEDs rated to 100,000 hours.

It is insured for the whole journey. Photograph the crate before you sign for it, and tell us the same day if there is damage. Replacement is ours to arrange and ours to pay for.

It is 150 kg assembled. Two people can move it across a level floor. Stairs are a different job and worth planning rather than attempting. It runs from any ordinary power point, so the new room needs no electrical work.

The bed itself is 1987 × 860 mm on the floor. You also need to stand beside it and lift the canopy, so treat the working footprint as larger than the machine.

Getting it in is the tighter constraint: 810 mm at the narrowest point on the route and 2.15 m of swing at every corner. We walk that route with you before anything is dispatched.

If a seller tells you a bed this size runs under 30 dB, ask how they measured it. 1,360 W of heat has to leave the machine somehow.
